Leisure and festivals

Many cultural activities (municipal library) and sports facilities (tennis clubs, football clubs, etc.) are available in the commune for both adults and children.

Discover Blacé via its walking paths

A viewing table awaits you at the Crêt de Charnat Quatre with 5, 9, 15 and 24 kilometre circuits taking you from the vineyards on Blaceret plateau to the wood-covered hills of Failly pass. With their panoramic views and old homes, the charm of these hamlets will cast a spell on you. Wait no more, climb up to the viewing table at Crêt de Charnat!

The view from this table looks out over Bourgogne and the Monts du Lyonnais, and englobes the Dombes, the slopes of the Jura and the Mont-Blanc, if you are lucky enough to have a good mist-free day. All these added extras make this walk pure bliss!

Youth Association

The Association Univers des Jeunes (UDJ) is a non-profit-making body which offers a wide range of cultural, educational, and sporting activities for the young and not-so-young.

Festivals

In Beaujolais, the traditional Fête des Conscrits is a must-do event! In 1880, this festival only involved Villefranche-sur-saône, however, it has gradually spread to all of the Beaujolais communes over the years.

In Blacé, the Fête des Conscrits takes place on the second Sunday in January.
